2014 PAC Annual Gala

Put on your dancing shoes for some ballroom dancing during the Prairie Arts Council’s 19th annual gala, “An Evening of Dance,” on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. at A Hundred Acre Orchard, west of Princeton. Complimentary beverages, wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening, while we enjoy the live music of "Ivory Plus".

Longtime Princeton resident Julie McCutchan will receive a special tribute award as the 2014 "Patron of the Arts",
and one of Princeton’s most respected artists, Verne Shaffer, has been chosen to receive the Prairie Arts Council’s "Lifetime Achievement in the Arts" Award for 2014

More than 30 pieces of art have been donated for the silent auction.

Tickets are $30 per person with advance reservations or $35 at the door.
Reservations can be made by calling (815) 875-2787

Save the date for a fun-filled evening for a good cause.

A one-of-a-kind, hand-hooked wool rug, designed and created by Sandy Reiker, has been donated by the artist to be used as a raffle fundraiser for the Prairie Arts Council. Raffle tickets are $2 each or three for $5 and can be purchased at the Prairie Arts Center. Drawing for the winner will be held at the annual gala in February 2014.

This beautiful piece of art, titled "Circles," measures 22 x 32 inches and can be used as a wall hanging or as a floor mat. (Yes, don't be afraid to walk on it.) It will be a wonderful addition to any home, traditional or contemporary.
