The Prairie Arts Council (PAC) will sponsor a free concert featuring the Sweet Country Band at the Soldiers and Sailors Park at Park Avenue and Main Streets in Princeton, Illinois on Sunday, August 16, at 6:00 PM. The Sweet Country Band has played at festivals, fairs and other events throughout the mid-west for several years. The Band consists of an acoustic bass, guitars, a mandolin and banjo.The mix of bluegrass, country and gospel songs should renew old memories and create a refreshing evening of fun and relaxation. Refreshments will be available. Donations are appreciated and will support the Prairie Arts Council Scholarship Fund.
