Gallery: Homestead Photography

The PAC is planning a unique event for our October Gallery exhibit, and EVERYONE who is willing to pay a $5 entry fee (for the frame) is invited to participate!
This is a new and fun idea proposed and organized by Sue Garvin, and we’re pretty excited about it.

So, here’s the idea: Anyone who wants to be part of the October exhibit will pick up a frame from the PAC for $5 (open every weekend from 1:00-4:00 and Aug 27& 28 from 4:00--6:00), take a photograph sometime during the weekend of the Homestead Festival, (Sep6-9).
Then
print your picture as an 8 x 10” photo (color or black and white), put it in the frame and bring it back to the PAC by Oct 4th, ready to hang!

If you didn’t get a frame in time, bring your photo to the PAC (weekends from 1:00-4:00) and if we have any frames left, we’ll hang it! It can be a photo of one or more people, activities, family outings, landmarks in town;
It can be ANYTHING.
Your photo doesn’t have to be related to the Homestead Festival, the only restriction is that is has to be taken sometime
during the Festival, Sept. 6-11

We also hope to get a short description.
Is there a story behind it?
Is this someone special in your life?

Your photos will be presented to the public at a free Opening Reception on Friday, October 5th 6:00-8:00 (invite your friends and family, and especially the “subjects” of your photos), and the collection will be
on display
weekends from 1:00-4:00 through October.
