During the month of October, the Prairie Arts Center Gallery will be featuring Matt Denault!

Matt says,
"I began this journey at the end of 2014 - a selfless adventure, seeking nothing but peace of mind, patience, and to release my worries in hopes of creating something beautiful. A design forcing one to think, imagine, or even second guess. A breath of fresh air, to test the stillness of my hands. The soundtrack of nature in my ear; the wind and rain to bring me back to reality. A form of meditation or therapy. I've earned vast amounts about myself in a short period of time - all while sitting on a rock, on the bottom of a creek, constructing impossible stacks, using the bricks of stones that pave the floor. A picture in my mind, attempting to flee from my bag of rocks. A new obstacle every time, always presenting a new challenge. Much like life, it;s never easy, and when it seems improbable; take a deep breath.
Find patience.
Balance out the negative,
and tune into your soul.
Something beautiful can emerge from the pile of rocks, but only you can make that possible.
