Be amazed at the different sizes of the flutes and the beautiful music of the Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble. Their new program is called "The Supernatural Flute", a fun collection of pieces including the Barber, Adagio for Strings, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens, and a brand new piece called The Haunted Mansion by Jonathan Cohen.  

Music Suite 408 in Peru is "the home base" for the Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble. They have performed at the Hegeler Carus Mansion, at the Chicago Flute Festival, at the Peoria Civic Center and at many other venues, including an appearance on television for the Easter Seals Telethon.  They have produced three CDs so far.

About the Director…
Sue Gillio is the owner of Music Suite 408 and director of the Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble. She is also the Principal flute of the Illinois Valley Symphony.  She is on faculty at Illinois Valley Community College and served as education coordinator for the Illinois Valley Symphony for 14 years.
