The Prairie Arts Council announces the relaunch of their community theater program. The first show will be "All the King's Women." It will premiere
Friday and Saturday March 23 and 24 with a curtain time of 7:30 p.m

"All the King's Women" is the story of Elvis Presley told through the eyes of 17 Women! Some Enthralled! Some Appalled! ALL OBSESSED! A fast paced series of 5 comedic scenes and 3 monologues based on the Life of Elvis Presley. From Tupelo Mississippi (where 11 year old Elvis wanted a BB Gun instead of a guitar) to The Steve Allen Show, from President Richard Nixon's office to Andy Warhol's studio, from Cadillac Salesmen to Graceland guards, this is a touching, bring-the-family comedy with a heart that captures the effects that fame, generosity & just being a nice guy can bring to others!

Director Dixie Schroeder is excited to present a unique show. "I was on the stage crew that performed the show at Stage 212. It is a lot of fun, especially for Elvis fans." Schroeder said. "We take every decade from the 1940's onward so the audience will get a visual treat with costumes and hair that reflect the era."

The cast of the show will include Bobette Roberson of Ottawa, Marie Pinter of Oglesby, Julie Grady, Andy Marti, Jill Marti and Ken Schroeder of Princeton and Leah Metcalf of Ohio. Producer of the show is Jill Marti.

Schroeder said, "We are happy to have the support of the PAC Board in this inaugural endeavor. We are striving to achieve a level of community theater that the local area has come to expect."
