I was offered my first PCB layout job soon after graduating BSEET from DeVry, and have been involved in circuit board development ever since (20+ years).

Proficient in all aspects of circuit board development including schematic capture, library maintenance, placement and routing using rule-driven constraints, impedance control, design for manufacturability and reliability, flex and rigid-flex design, generation of fabrication, assembly and test data, quoting fast-turn prototypes and close interaction with bare-board fabricators and assembly partners.

Member of the IPC with CID+ certification, and actively participate in several Standards Development Committees. I enjoy writing articles, creating tutorials and sharing knowledge through the IPC Designer's Council, TechNet and other internet-based forums.

Finally, although this is only a brief introduction, I would like to say that I really enjoy my career. I love designing circuit boards, am enthusiastic about all the new developments in our industry, and strive to perpetually surf the learning curve.
