Princeton’s Prairie Art Council will award the annual $1,000 Art Scholarship this spring!  
All graduating high-school seniors, or the equivalent if home-schooled, who reside in Bureau County, and who will be attending college as an art major or minor in the fall of 2016, are invited to apply.

The award will be determined through a portfolio competition.  Students should prepare a portfolio of five to ten original works, a statement of intention, and a letter of recommendation.  These should be delivered to the Prairie Arts Council, 24 Park Avenue East, Princeton IL 61356, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, between 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. A panel of members appointed by the Prairie Arts Center will award the scholarship.   The winner will be announced during the following week.
