Auditions for Passengers
The Prairie Arts Council will hold auditions for an October production of Passengers at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25, in the Prairie Arts Center theater, located at 24 Park Ave. East in Princeton. Anyone wishing to audition that is unable to attend, should contact Director Joe Ennenbach at 815-488-0633 to set up an alternate time.
Passengers will take place October 15 - 17, 2021. Passengers is written by Sam Bobrick. Four actors, a man and woman in their mid to late twenties and a man and woman in their mid to late forties, play a total of 17 characters in this collection of eight short plays set in a small midwestern bus station. Each scene transitions seamlessly into the next and varies from comedic to poignant and are tied together in the last scene. Passengers is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

People with an interest in theater, with or without previous experience are encouraged to become involved in the show. Volunteers are always needed both on and off stage. Prairie Arts Council programming is funded in part by grants from the Illinois Arts Council and the Princeton Closet.
